Sanity Preserving Projects

The "poster" above is a recent project I took on, to lend an assist to Moma Duma (who is still Bonnie Nelson to most of us who have known her in her previous life...). Along with her CHEETAH ALLIANCE http://www.cheetahalliance.org/ project, she's seeking out and pursuing ways to entertain and capture the interest, imagination and tremendous potential possessed by Children everywhere, in the hopes of raising consciousness towards the dwindling populations of endangered animals, in particular the Cheetah, and other issues the Children of the World will necessarily inherit from "US" adults.

I encourage any of you with a little time on your hands, or an interest in cultivating the Youth of Today as they prepare for their Leadership Tomorrow, or the desire to improve the World condition in any way you can; to check out her website, or some of her writing efforts. www.cheetahportal.com/index.html offers her experiences and feelings while traveling through Africa. You'll also find at the end of my FAREWELL CARTHAGINIAN Photo essay, a link to Bonnie's article in the Lahaina News, a tribute to Lahaina's vanished vessel.

"The really bright student, the eager questioner, the probing searcher, especially if he is brighter than his teacher, is too often seen as a 'wise guy,' a threat to discipline, a challenger of his teacher's authority." - Abraham Maslow
